Last offseason some not-safe-for-work pictures of Indians center fielder Grady Sizemore popped up on the internet, after which Sizemore’s lawyers sent cease-and-desist letters to various websites that posted them.
Sizemore later apologized for the photos becoming public, saying that he meant for them to be seen only by his girlfriend, former Playboy centerfold Brittany Binger.
It turns out the photos were stolen from Binger’s computer and now a Minnesota woman is being charged with the crime. According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, police have charged 19-year-old Leah Ayers “with two counts of unauthorized computer access,” which is a gross misdemeanor.
Ayers allegedly accessed Binger’s computer on four different occasions and used it to view her e-mails, social networking sites, and various other personal data like the 15-photo set of Sizemore pictures. Tracing the IP address doing the hacking led police to the home of Ayers’ parents in Apple Valley, Minnesota.
