Giancarlo Stanton exited Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays after suffering a knee injury. At first the Yankees said he was day-to-day and that there was “no new injury.” Yesterday, however, it was revealed that he sprained his posterior collateral ligament. The Yankees placed him on the injured list, a mere six games after he came off of it.
Today Brian Cashman got to London and talked about Stanton’s prognosis. How is it? Not great, Bob!
The Yankees have called up Mike Tauchman from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre ahead of this weekend’s series against the Red Sox in London. Hope he had his passport with him.
