Yesterday Tigers ace Justin Verlander was removed from his start due to right groin tightness. The move was precautionary, but the team decided to give him an MRI just to be on the safe side.

The team got some good news today: MRI results showed no structural damage and he is not expected to miss a start. The Tigers are listing him as day-to-day.

Verlander is 4-4 with a 4.63 ERA and 1.46 WHIP on the year.
