Jim Salisbury of CSN Philly reports that the Phillies have signed utility infielder Andres Blanco to a one-year, $3 million deal.

Blanco, 32, has been a valuable utility player for the Phillies over the past three seasons. He had a career year in 2015, putting up an .863 OPS in 261 plate appearances playing first, second, and third base as well as shortstop.

This past season, Blanco added left field to his repertoire and still put up a solid .721 OPS. He missed a month and a half during the second half of the season due to a broken index finger.
