Dodgers second baseman Chase Utley delivered the game-winning hit in the eighth inning of NLDS Game 4, driving a single to right field off of Nationals reliever Blake Treinen. The RBI single broke a 5-5 tie, putting the Dodgers up by a run. Closer Kenley Jansen came on in the top of the ninth and retired the Nats in 1-2-3 order to seal the game, forcing a Game 5 to be played on Thursday in Washington, D.C.
