The Rockies beat the Marlins 5-3 last night. Eight runs scored in all. The cool part: all eight runs were scored via solo homers.

That’s the first time that has ever happened, by the way. The previous record had been five, so the record wasn’t just broken, it was shattered.

The homers came from Mark Reynolds, who hit two, Marcell Ozuna who also hit two, Giancarlo StantonTrevor Story, Nick Hundley and Charlie Blackmon. Not too shabby.
