The Mariners announced on Sunday evening that the club acquired pitcher Zach Lee from the Dodgers in exchange for infielder Chris Taylor.

Lee, 24, has only one major league appearance under his belt, made last year on July 25 against the Mets. He gave up seven runs in 4 2/3 innings. Lee has spent this season with Triple-A Oklahoma City, compiling a 4.89 ERA with a 57/15 K/BB ratio in 73 2/3 innings.

Taylor, 25, has a .593 OPS across parts of three seasons in the majors. He’s 1-for-3 in the big leagues this year. At Triple-A Tacoma, where he’s spent most of his 2016 season, he has a .311/.388/.459 triple-slash line in 277 plate appearances. Taylor has mostly played shortstop and second base but can play third base as well.
