Yu Darvish wasn’t the only casualty in last night’s Rangers-Astros game. Third baseman Adrian Beltre went down as well, suffering from a tight left hamstring in the eighth inning.

Beltre grabbed his hamstring after reaching second base. He was taken out for “precautionary” measures, manager Jeff Banister said afterward. Today was already a planned day off for Beltre, so Jurickson Profar will get the start. If he has to miss more time, Profar’s hot bat since he came up makes it easier.
