Over the weekend, a motorized scooter Hunter Pence had donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation was taken by thieves, along with eight iPads. It wasn’t the first time Pence’s scooter had been stolen, as it suffered a similar fate two years ago and was returned after it was reported in the media.

Kimberly Veklerov of the San Francisco Chronicle reports that the scooter has been recovered again and the suspects have been arrested. Mayor Ed Lee plans to donate eight iPads to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

How was it recovered? Beat cops recognized one of the suspects from surveillance footage, then got a search warrant on Fourth Street. They found the scooter there.

Nice work all around.
