The Dodgers have had a good number of injuries this spring. Here’s another one: second baseman Howie Kendrick has hurt his calf. He was scratched from yesterday’s Cactus League game with tightness in his left calf.
Manager Dave Roberts said that it’s “not very serious” and he expects Kendrick back in a couple days. Still, between that and some groin issues he had earlier in spring training, he’s only played in eight games in the Cactus League so you have to wonder how ready he will be once the bell rings for Opening Day.
