Today is the last day there will be no baseball action of some kind until November. Apart from college baseball, anyway, which I tend to think of as a totally different thing, but if you love it that’s cool. It’s just a matter of taste for people, I think.
But thank God for college baseball in the meantime, to ease us back into the grand spectator sport of bat-flip watching. Like this bit of flippage which took place over the weekend.
Thank goodness for the people who don’t respect the game. They make it fun for us. I don’t expect any major leaguers to flip that grandly, but this will get us ready for the season.
