World Series, Game 2: Mets vs. Royals lineups

Here are the Mets and Royals lineups for Game 2 of the World Series in Kansas City:

RF Curtis Granderson
3B David Wright
2B Daniel Murphy
LF Yoenis Cespedes
1B Lucas Duda
C Travis d'Arnaud
DH Michael Conforto
SS Wilmer Flores
CF Juan Lagares

SP Jacob deGrom

Opting for Kelly Johnson‘s bat over Juan Lagares’ glove in Game 1 didn’t work out so well for Terry Collins, so the Mets manager has changed his mind on how to utilize the designated hitter spot. Lagares in starting in center field, with Yoenis Cespedes shifting to left field and Michael Conforto, not Johnson, at DH. Everything else stays the same for the Mets.

SS Alcides Escobar
2B Ben Zobrist
CF Lorenzo Cain
1B Eric Hosmer
DH Kendrys Morales
3B Mike Moustakas
C Salvador Perez
LF Alex Gordon
RF Alex Rios

SP Johnny Cueto

Royals manager Ned Yost is–you may want to sit down for this–sticking with the same lineup and batting order he’s used all postseason.
