David Price to start for Blue Jays in Game 6 of ALCS

David Price was spotted warming up in the bullpen during the later innings of Wednesday’s ALCS Game 5 win over the Royals and he acknowledged afterward that he was preparing to enter in relief. But starter Marco Estrada was able to pitch out of that particular jam and Blue Jays manager John Gibbons went with Aaron Sanchez and Roberto Osuna to wrap up the 7-1 victory.

Which keeps Price in line to pitch in Game 6 of the ALCS on Friday night in Kansas City. And the left-hander confirmed on Wednesday night that the plan remains the same …

He’ll be facing off against Yordano Ventura with Toronto again facing elimination.
