The Mets defeated the Dodgers 3-2 in Game 5 of the NLDS on Thursday night to advance to the NLCS against the Cubs.
Jeurys Familia converted the first six-out save of his career to lock down the victory. The final out was a swinging strikeout of Howie Kendrick.

After posting a 1.85 ERA with 43 saves during the regular season, Familia retired all 16 batters he faced during the NLDS. Quite a year for him. And it’s not over yet.
