Multiple clinching celebrations took place Saturday around Major League Baseball, with the Toronto Blue Jays grabbing a postseason spot for the first time since 1993, the New York Mets locking up their first National League East title since 2006, and the Chicago Cubs securing a spot in the National League Wild Card Game despite a loss.
The tightest race still is for the second American League Wild Card, but there was no movement there on Saturday. Houston (+0.5 games), Anaheim (-0.5 games), and Minnesota (-1.5 games) all won. Cleveland (-3 games) did too.
