Francisco Lindor is having a fantastic rookie season for the Indians, hitting .315 with 10 homers and an .827 OPS in 87 games since being called up in mid-June, and the 21-year-old shortstop has been every bit as impressive defensively too.
Tuesday night against the Twins he made what may be his best play and one of the best plays by any shortstop in baseball this season:

In a lot of seasons Lindor would be the easy Rookie of the Year choice, but there’s very tough competition in the American League this year with fellow stud prospects Carlos Correa and Miguel Sano also having great debuts.
