Corey Kluber set to rejoin the Indians’ rotation

Indians right-hander Corey Kluber has been sidelined for the past two weeks with a strained hamstring, but the reigning Cy Young award winner has been cleared to start Thursday against the Royals.

Cleveland has clawed its way back into the fringes of the Wild Card race with a 70-71 record, so they’ll need a healthy Kluber down the stretch to make a playoff push.

And he’s looking to finish the season on a high note after poor run support left him with an 8-13 record despite a 3.41 ERA and spectacular 219/38 K/BB ratio in 200 innings.
