Video: Kris Bryant hit a ball 495 feet at Wrigley Field


Kris Bryant absolutely unloaded on a fastball from Diamondbacks starter Rubby De Le Rosa in the bottom of the fifth inning Sunday afternoon at Wrigley Field, driving it off the new video board in left to tie the game 1-1. If that same ball were hit this time last year, it might have connected with one of those buildings across Waveland Avenue.

MLB’s Statcast estimated the distance of the home run at 495 feet, which makes it the longest home run hit by any player in Major League Baseball this season. Watch it fly …
