Dodgers utilityman Kiké Hernandez was placed on the disabled list with a bum hamstring yesterday. But he was still an integral part of the Dodgers’ dramatic 14-inning win over the Giants in the wee hours this morning. Because he was wearing a Rally Banana suit:

The best part of it was that he was literally ordered to go out into the dugout in the suit by team president Andrew Friedman. From J.P. Hornstra:

According to Hernandez, Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman spotted him in the 12th inning wearing the banana suit. Hernandez said “Andrew saw me and said, ‘you’ve got to go down there.’ I said, I’ll get fined. He said, ‘I’ll pay your fine.’

“Gotta do what the boss says.”

Yes. Yes you do.
