MLB.com’s Dargan Southard has the report …
Rockies manager Walt Weiss didn’t want to put percentages on it, but he said “there’s a chance” that outfielder Corey Dickerson could return this weekend from his plantar fasciitis.
Dickerson is 4-for-11 with an RBI single, a walk, and two runs scored so far in three rehab minor league games spread between High-A Modesto and Triple-A Albuquerque. He will play again with Albuquerque on Wednesday evening and a decision will probably be made on his status after a day of recuperation on Thursday.
Dickerson has appeared in just 38 games this season for the last-place Rockies, though he has managed a cool .843 OPS when active. The 26-year-old had a .931 OPS, 24 homers, and 76 RBI last season.
