Veteran reliever Javy Guerra, who was part of the White Sox’s bullpen for most of last season and a brief stint this April before being sent down to Triple-A, has been suspended 50 games following a second positive test for a “drug of abuse.”

Guerra has spent parts of five seasons in the majors for the Dodgers and the White Sox, posting a 2.87 ERA in 150 innings. He was the Dodgers’ closer for a stretch in 2011, but the White Sox claimed him off waivers last spring.

ESPN.com reports that the 29-year-old Guerra is the 67th minor leaguer suspended for drugs this season.
