This is a fairly inconsequential move even if you’re a Braves fan. If you’re not a Braves fan, it is close to utterly meaningless. But I’m not gonna let the opportunity to write about guys named Foltynewicz and Terdoslavich in the same transaction pass me by.
Terdoslavich, a utility guy, was just 4-for-24 with a home run in 14 games. Foltynewicz, a starter, but who will now pitch out of the bullpen, pitched for the Braves earlier this year, was not really ready and got whacked around, but is now getting a second chance. He has a 3.15 ERA in eight starts in Triple-A with a 54/24 K/BB ratio in 45.2 innings. He has stuff, just not a lot of experience yet.
Anyway, Folty for Terdo. You read about it here.
