Hanley Ramirez out of Red Sox’s lineup for fifth straight game

Hanley Ramirez remains on the Red Sox’s active roster, but he’s out of the starting lineup tonight for the fifth consecutive game with a hand injury.

Ramirez was hit on the left hand by a line drive while running the bases Wednesday and left the team over the weekend to undergo further testing. He’s back with the team for their road trip to Toronto, which is seemingly good news, but Ramirez isn’t ready to rejoin the lineup yet.

Alejandro De Aza is starting in his place in left field, with Jackie Bradley Jr. in right field.
