Joey Gallo had himself a Bondsian afternoon in Saturday’s win against the Twins. The slugger went 1-for-1 with a tape-measure home run and drew three walks. The home run, a solo shot in the fourth inning off of J.R. Graham, was measured at 461 feet, the fourth-longest hit at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, per Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

In 42 plate appearances to begin his career, Gallo is batting .306/.405/.583 with three home runs and six RBI. He has struck out 15 times, but that was to be expected.
