The 26-year-old catcher wound up missing close to two months with a fractured right pinkie finger.
He was off to a fantastic start before the injury, batting .317/.356/.537 with two home runs and 10 RBI in 11 games played. The day d’Arnaud was placed on the disabled list, the Mets were in first place in the National League East standings with a record of 11-3. They are still in first place but have gone 20-25 since.
