Stephen Strasburg has a left trapezius strain


Stephen Strasburg left Friday night’s start with tightness in his left trapezius. His official diagnosis came in this morning. Mark Zuckerman of reports:

He had already been placed on the disabled list.

Strasburg has a 6.55 ERA through 10 starts this season and isn’t missing nearly as many bats as he used to.

Jim Edmonds being tested for coronavirus

Longtime Angels and Cardinals outfielder Jim Edmonds shared on his Instagram story that he is being tested for coronavirus.

The four-time All-Star, who now works as a broadcaster for Fox Sports Midwest, has not posted an update on the results of his test.
