Johnny Cueto was scratched from his last start due to elbow stiffness, which he has been feeling for a week. As a precautionary measure, the Reds sent him in for an MRI. The results? Good news:

Cueto himself said it was probably just fatigue. And that’s something the Reds are certainly hoping is the case and now have some reason to hope optimistically. Partially because having Cueto healthy is good for the Reds. Mostly because having Cueto healthy is good for the Reds at the trade deadline.
