Devon Travis out fourth straight game with shoulder injury

Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis has been bothered by discomfort around his left shoulder — or, more accurately, his left collarbone — since a bad hop caught him there on April 30. He reaggravated it Saturday in the Blue Jays’ loss to the Astros and has not appeared in a game for Toronto since.

Travis will miss his fourth straight game Wednesday vs. the Angels, with Steve Tolleson again filling in.

Travis was off to a hot start in his rookie campaign, batting .271/.336/.504 with seven home runs, 26 RBI, and 24 runs scored through 36 games. The 24-year-old is considered day-to-day.
