Marlins owner Jeff Loria explaining to USA Today why he switched managers. The upshot: there was no fire in the Marlins’ clubhouse and new manager Dan Jennings will provide some. To make the point, he used an analogy of sorts:
“We’re supposed to be the Fish. The Marlins. We shouldn’t be the Flounders.
“A Marlin isn’t a flounder. We’ve got to get it going.”
But a flounder is a fish, yes? And I think, like, the transitive property suggests that . . .
