The Rockies have avoided arbitration with outfielder Drew Stubbs, agreeing on a one-year, $5.825 million deal for the 2015 season, per a report from Sportsnet’s Ben Nicholson-Smith.

Stubbs was entering his third and final year of arbitration eligibility, so he can become a free agent following the conclusion of the 2015 season. The 30-year-old batted a robust .289/.339/.482 with 15 home runs, 43 RBI, and 20 stolen bases for the Rockies last season.
