Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun reports that Orioles reliever Ryan Webb had surgery on his left (non-throwing) shoulder shortly after the end of the 2014 season.

Webb had been dealing with instability in the shoulder, so he had surgery to tighten the capsule. The good news is that it was considered minor and he should be fine for spring training.

After joining the Orioles on a two-year, $4.5 million contract last winter, Webb posted a 3.83 ERA and 37/12 K/BB ratio across 49 1/3 innings in 2014. He turns 29 in February and owns a 3.38 ERA (115 ERA+) for his career.
