Michael Morse will become Miami’s primary first baseman and he could hit cleanup most of the time behind $325 million slugger Giancarlo Stanton. Morse isn’t much of a defender, but he registered an impressive .811 OPS (130 OPS+) in 131 games this past season for the World Series-champion Giants. He earned down-ballot MVP votes in 2011 when he batted .303/.360/.550 with 31 homers and 95 RBI in 146 games for the Nationals.
