FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal has the scoop …
Sources: #Rockies trying to move Rosario. Poor defensive catcher, better fit for AL. Rox thought about playing him in RF last season.

Rosario looked like a budding star in 2012 when registered an .843 OPS, 28 home runs, and 71 RBI in 117 games as a 23-year-old rookie, but he had an .801 OPS and 21 homers in 2013, and then finished the 2014 season with a .739 OPS and only 13 home runs. The 25-year-old is now arbitration-eligible for the first time.
