Phillies sign catcher John Hester to minor league deal

Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports that the Phillies have signed catcher John Hester to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.

The former 13th-round pick (2006) of the Diamondbacks will now function as organizational depth at catcher for Philadelphia.
