Fun Fact: opponents have celebrated clinching something at Turner Field ten times

I got this from the AP recap of last night’s game, but it’s such a fun fact, I figured I’d share: Last night was the 10th time the Braves have watched a visiting team celebrate a playoff victory or postseason-clinching win since moving to Turner Field in 1997.

So hospitable. I’m put in mind of that headline from The Onion’s “Our Dumb Century” book from the story of the German invasion of France in WWII in which the French people tell the Germans “We left your rooms just like you like them!”

It’s a southern thing. They probably put out some sweet tea for the Nats too.
