I was bored a little while ago so I decided to tweet a series of things about how I doubt “Game of Thrones” would appeal to me based on what I’ve heard people say about it. It went like this:
I know Game of Thrones is popular and people tell me it’s awesome, but every time specific scenes are discussed it makes it sound horrifying

I realize I’m old and my sensibilities have changed into that of an old dad’s, but huge amounts of violence, rape, etc. don’t appeal to me.

Not saying you can’t make a great show/movie with those elements or should be barred from it. I just can’t get into it.

Then Aaron swoops in:
@craigcalcaterra And yet you watch a daily, six-month-long show prominently featuring B.J. Upton at-bats.
