Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista exited this afternoon’s game in the fourth inning with what the team is calling left hip soreness.
Bautista went 0-for-1 with a walk before leaving and Anthony Gose came off the bench to replace him, with Rajai Davis shifting over to right field.
After missing 70 games last season Bautista has played 118 of 125 games this year, hitting .259 with 28 homers, 24 doubles, and an .856 OPS that’s 136 points below his combined OPS from 2010-2012.
