Everyone wants to put Felix Hernandez in pinstripes, but Felix Hernandez was on KJR in Seattle this morning and he said that M’s fans shouldn’t worry a thing about it. When asked about his next contract, Hernandez said:
“… you guys [will] be happy, “I’m not going nowhere … I promise.”
That part comes around the 6 minute mark. For what it’s worth, promises made on talk radio regarding a negotiation that won’t take place for two years is not legally binding.
