Ian Kinsler didn’t show any disappointment on Opening Day

This morning we heard that Ian Kinsler was disappointed that he couldn’t get a deal worked out with the Rangers before the season started.  If he’s disappointed, however, it didn’t carry over to his game: Kinsler had a leadoff double, scored on a Josh Hamilton sac fly and later hit a solo homer, leading the Rangers to a 3-2 win over the White Sox.

Adam Dunn had an extremely Adam Dunn day for the Sox: homer, walk and a strikeout.  If he can remain a Three True Outcomes player like that, the Sox will be happy.

Colby Lewis struck out nine in six innings for the win.

Viva Last Opening Day, everyone.
