Settling the Score: Friday’s results

The Nationals won their 12th game in their last 13 last night against the White Sox, but it wasn’t easy. Interim manager John McLaren was ejected in the bottom of the eighth inning leaving Trent Jewett as the “interim interim” manager. By the way, Jewett just officially joined the staff yesterday. The Nationals blew leads in the ninth, 10th and 12 innings, but scored four runs in the top of the 14th to secure the victory. And wouldn’t you know it, the game ended right before last call at Caddies.
