Another day, another Rangers pitcher back from the disabled list.

This time it’s Colby Lewis, who returns after missing nearly a month with forearm tightness, and the Rangers sent rookie Martin Perez back to Triple-A to make room on the roster.

Lewis got rocked for eight runs in his final outing before being shut down, but before that he had a 3.00 ERA and 84/12 K/BB ratio in 96 innings. He’ll get the A’s this afternoon in his first start back and tossed eight innings of two-run ball versus Oakland on June 6.

Perez was rushed to the majors despite not having particularly good numbers at Triple-A and the 21-year-old made two starts and two relief appearances while allowing 10 runs in 13 innings.

We know Clayton Kershaw will oppose Dallas Keuchel in Game 1 of the World Series. We now know the rest of the Dodgers’ rotation order, per Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times. After Kershaw, it’ll be Rich Hill, then Yu Darvish, followed by Alex Wood.

No surprise, that’s the same order the Dodgers used in the NLCS against the Cubs. Dodger starters combined to post a 2.67 ERA with 31 strikeouts and four walks across 27 innings in the NLCS.

The Astros haven’t yet announced their rotation order, but we can safely assume Justin Verlander will follow Keuchel in Game 2.
