Back in January Jose Bautista claimed that he was given a boatload more drug tests after he started hitting a lot of home runs than he ever did during years as a journeyman. That led to many assuming that baseball was targeting Bautista, taking the random out of random drug testing.
But not so, says the players’ union:

If even the union says it was all on the up-and-up, it’s pretty likely that Jose was exaggerating or was confused about something.
